S.B.Misra did his Graduation and Post Graduation from the
Lucknow
University, Lucknow and moved to the Memorial
University, Newfoundland
for his Masters in 1968. After serving the field of Geology for three decades Misra retired as Professor in Geology at the Kumaun University, Nainital, India in 1999.
